They also offer vintage rooms - b&b
They didn't fall for the tourist rip-off which I highly appreciate!
I'm always happy to see they are still open!
Used to go there in the old days when smoking was ok and the room was in clouds.
The usual suspects met there along a jam session of piano/bass etc.
As a non-smoker I stayed outdoors a lot but the groove was classy ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proper, tasty traditional dishes in a nice small setting; the outdoor seating overlooking a pleasant pedestrian street while indoors it's a classic feeling with wood covered walls. Tasty beer from the local Eggenberg brewery.
One star down for accepting cash only in 2021 in a touristy area with prices according - finding this out only at payment is quite upsetting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very small, but we had reservation so we could sit down easily. It seems that the waiters are used to a bit crowd, they are really fast (sometimes almost too fast). The menu is not really long but the dishes are well made. I ate pork neck, which was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place had a great atmosphere, the staff was friendly, everyone eating there was happy. I had a cold dish and salad so couldn’t comment on the hot food but what I had was delicious! Would recommend!
