★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were checking the restaurant and a woman from the restaurant came inside, locked the door and didn't even tell us why she locks so we left. Rudeness at its best.... I can't say anything about food, place because I didn't have the chance to see them... Of course never going there....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is quite tasty - geek salad was very fresh and spinach gnocchi was great. For a traditional Czech restaurant, it has quite a "big" choice of vegetarian dishes (apart from salads) - there are 4 and not all of them are hermelin ;)! We were there kind of early (about 7pm) and they were already out of one of those choices - that seemed kinda strange.
Menu on their website seems to be out of date as it's a bit different from the one you get in the restaurant.
Our waiter could not really speak English much and spoke quite hilariously in something that seemed to be an attempt at combining German with scraps of English. As funny as it was, he would most probably be rather useless if I'd have an acctual question or concern.
The restaurant does not serve the local Eggenberg beer and instead has some tasty Budweiser in two varieties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Food, and recommended! Interior looks lovely too - we came as a big group yesterday and everything was so good that we came here again today.
Soup, Pizza, Burgers, Traditional Czech Food, Drinks. We loved it all.
This place deserves a 5-star rating for their food! Just fantastic :D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is better than the food. We ended up visiting Don Julius for lunch and dinner because it’s still open beyond 7pm unlike most other restaurants in the area. They serve sauerkraut which helps combat the stodginess of the meal. By no means are the dishes not enjoyable for the palate but I feel the price you pay is a little much for this pub setting. Staff were trained well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food, friendly waiter, but they removed the Beef Tartare from the menue.? THE BEEF TATARE!!! ? Every time, when we come to Cesky Krumlov, we visit Don Julius because the the Beef Tartare (ok, and the beer), so please bring it back to the menue. ?

Had confit duck, bohemian potato pancakes and of course beer.
Food was amazing the duck was extremely well cooked, service was amazing even though our server didn’t speak great English he made sure we were comfortable and gave us a small packet of gummy bears.
