★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally speaking, it's far from everything, the owner didn't attempt to communicate and not the least helpful. The "kitchen" was a pig sty and dirty...there was mold everywhere..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hostel is at nice location. Heaters at the common room won't work and the floors are of tiles. So it's very cold even when you wear socks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rats in the rooms and the kitchen. It looks decent but barebones and neglected. I would avoid if i'm in the town again. Staff was absent the whole evening and early morning but there is a key drop box. Reception hours are limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very average place. The double room we took was a bit odd. It was probably connected to some drainage system so was smelly and had constant sounds of water going through pipes that were all around the room. OK for a couple of nights but still a bit steep at 35 pounds a night. Staff was very warm and welcoming and the garden is very nice so no complaints there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, great accommodation with the river right in front of it. Clean rooms with kitchen, coffee maker and almost all equipment (no wine opener, that is essential :D). Close to the center (like everything in this city).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may find the rooms to be old, but for the price you are paying its one of the best hostels you can stay at. The communal spaces are nice. The kitchen is usefull. The upper porch has an amazing view.
