★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite wonderful place with an amazing view from the top floor. I recommend it all looking for not-so-expensive, yet greatly located place with its own, great atmosphere. Plus, there is a bar downstairs with beer and full menu, so you can have all your meals there if you want to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite hostel in Cesky Krumlov. It's always busy, but extremely clean. The receptionist was great, but there was one particular server in the restaurant that was a bit rude to our group about tipping which put us off (we've lived in Prague for about 5-6 years collectively). Overall a really awesome hostel at a good price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT GO THERE! BEDBUGS!
In 1 1/2 years backpacking in Asia and South America I‘ve not seen conditions like in this hostel. After noticing a horrendous amount of bedbugs in our room we requested a new room which was denied at first, as well as the reimbursement of the money we payed. Only after discussion with an impolite and unprofessional receptionist we got a minor reimbursement. The rooms we‘ve stayed in HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED PROPERLY, so the person after us will encounter the bedbugs as well. The entire hostel is filthy (especially bathrooms) and I‘ve never met personal as unfriendly as in this place. The reception is furthermore 10 min walking distance and only open for a short period of time each day.
I CAN‘T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE valuing hygiene or personal health (bedbucks can pose as an extreme health hazard as well as financial burden if cleaning costs have to be payed like in our case).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing cheap food, excelent, fast service. Try beef goulash, it's cheap (140czk or <6eur). Cozy, warm ambient. Beer is great. Staff is fluent in english and friendly. Prices are comparable to cheapest restaurant in Prague, but food looks and tastes amazing. After bad experiences in Prague, this is a real gem. We had our lunch in a room that was once a stable. Fireplace, wooden furniture, sweet and cozy. 10/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is in really good location. The reception however, is pretty far from hostel like 500m. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms looks clean at first but then I saw bed bugs crawling on bed just before bed time. Had to go all the way to the reception to pick up keys for different room. Second room had no issue with bed bugs however, it was not comfortable sleeping there having in the back of mind that bed bugs could be in second room as well.
