The location of this hostel is possibly the best thing about it. Right in between the Prague castle and Charles bridge. Walking distance to almost all the main attractions. We stayed at a 8 sharing dorm. The rooms were big and nice. The bathroom was hotel - level. Ours even had a bathtub! The bathroom cleaning is done twice a day which is amazing cos noone wants a dirty toilet. The free breakfast was decent - a sandwich, cereals and juice. But its not a place to meet new people or socialise as it does not have any common area to do so. And the receptionist didn't know much about the place. She guided us wrongly when we asked her the way to Karlov. So basically, it's a great place to stay in if you want to wander and figure out stuff by yourself!

Nice hostel, located in the heart of the historical area. This place is classy, not your typical hostel. Granite counters, nice wood finishes and furniture. The bed is comfortable with a nice heavy comforter. Nice shower with hot good pressure. A locker is provided but its only large enough for your most valued items, dont expect to stow a large backpack. The breakfast is basic. I only drink coffee it was nice to a regular urn. Great restaurant next door. And only a short walk to the castle and charges bridge. 2 minute walk from the tram stop. And 1 change to the central station.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great just below the palace and actually fairly easy to find. Rooms were clean. They provided a key for a small locker in the room. This was my first experience with a hostel. I shared the 10 bed room, I was actually in a two bed room. All the roommates were nearly a third of my age but seemed nice. Bathroom was decent, and they provide a towel and soap. Breakfast was simple, coffee and two types of cereals, juice and offered a sandwich. I walked from the train/bus station and took a few wrong turns but on the way back to the station, it only took 30 mins to get back since I kind of knew the layout of town. I was only carrying a small bag which made travels simple as well. The hostel only took cash, an atm was just outside the door and they required a deposit for the locker key.

Beautiful hostel, absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a good night's rest, close to the tourist attractions yet away from the bulk of crowds Pros: Limited but fresh breakfast ! Small hostel, cosy atmosphere and great for socialising a little (not party) Beautiful rooms with natural light, lots of space and chandeliers The ensuite washroom is amazing. Huge mirrors, a bathtub and all necessary amenities. Very clean. Small but accessible kitchen The hostel is a UNESCO heritage site it seems, properly restored and looks like a beautiful historical house. The reception staff are very warm and welcoming. Make sure you pay in the local currency though (there is an ATM outside the hostel, bad exchange rates but good for an emergency) Cons: The housekeeping staff can be a little rude on occasion. Not the friendliest.

Absolutely amazing place! The rooms are huge, lockers are huge, bathrooms are huge and building itself is stunning! Placed inside a UNESCO World heritage building this hostel is magnificent. Everything is spotless, reception is super nice and helpful (24/7 service). Free breakfast!! By FAR the best hostel I've ever been too! Topped off by being in a perfect location

The beds were really comfy and the bathroom was nice too as it used to be a hotel. I stayed at a 12 bed dorm with one bathroom and also stayed at another 12 bed dorm that had two bathrooms. Overall the location was great, i found everything to be within walking distance. The breakfast is very basic, it consists of cereal and a sandwich you get at the reception, which is included in the price. They only take cash and prefer if you pay with krona, sometimes they will accept euros. This is a nice hostel but if you're looking to party or meet lots of people this is not the right place for that. I definitely recommend this hostel and would stay again.

This is a great hostel and off the beaten path where it's a bit more quiet. Helps if you're ending a busy day. The staff is so lovely and made the experience that much better. They were happy to help me find my way around and accommodate me having a bike. The property clearly was some kind of fancy hotel which was converted into a hostel. Rooms are quite large with enough space to fit 4 bunk beds and have marble bathrooms. It has a certain old world charm to it with some ornate details (look at the ceiling in your room). No AC so crack the windows and hope for cooler weather. Cereal and breakfast sandwiches are available in the mornings as well. I will definitely be back. :)

Our party of 17 were also moved here from another hostel due to our original accommodation flooding Unlike the other reviews, I would recommend the hostel. Our group largely had a positive experience both and the hostel and in this city. The receptionist, Milly, was very helpful and patient with us. We had private bathrooms which were of an unexpectedly high finish (marble floors and worktops) and the room was cleaned everyday. Also, the kitchen had free pasta which you could cook yourself, which came in very handy the day after a very big night. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable but pretty standard for a hostel.
