Minus - promised dinner was canceled due to the kitchen closing 30min earlier; it would be nice if the staff smiled here or there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two sides. The plusside it is a very cheap accomodation with a swimmingpool and restaurantfacilities. Location is good, very good startingpoint for the hikes. Staff is friendly and helpfull. It is more a cheap familyhotel. Downside: rooms and hotel itself are getting outdated, shower in the one person room needs upgrade, menu is a lot of meat with basicly not very much variation. Breakfast rather salty, coffee and the orangejus could use qualityupgrade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms blast from the past, creepy stinking hallways, check in only to 2 pm. Room is 5ft², no AC and balcony is made as a part of a room! Creepy paintings everywhere, food is terrible. Just awful. Photos on the website are misleading.
PLEASE! Avoid this *** Hotel (yeah, they gave themselfs 3 stars) at any cost. I've never ever stayed in worse "hotel". It's basicaly pub with rooms to stay overnight. No jokes. After first night I canceled my stay. I had to sleep on bed wider than 15 inches.
PS: Good luck with overcrowded dirty pool with sharp tiles all around it and disco music blasting out loud.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't forget to grow your mustache, your ABBA records and pants from 70s, because you will travel back in time. It is obvious that owners didn't invest much into the building for a quite long time. Unfortunately staff don't put the effort to feel you are welcome there and to do something for you if asked to. It is too bad because the hotel is placed in calm and beautiful surroundings. I hope that staff gets better in the future. Good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel. As backpackers doing a trip on the trains around Europe, this hotel did the job for us. If you are English however, staff don't speak the language so well but that's to be expected in an area like Jetřichovice. They supposedly speak German very well though.
Check in was a little bit upsetting however. We were given our keys and that was it. No over info or even the floor numbers but again, considering the language, it was fine.
Rooms are very, very dated in decor but generally well cleaned. Showers are hot but quite low.
Restaurant serves great food. One of the ladies in the restaurant serving is wonderful. We couldn't speak to each other really at all but we could understand her and vice versa. Very smiley, could have a laugh and made us feel welcome.
The bar runs late in the evening too.
Location is pretty good. Jetřichovice has a little supermarket, tourist info spot (speaks English), bus stop and a couple of restraunts. You can get the bus to nearby towns to walk to pravčická gate. Nice, sleepy little village.
