★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Hromovka. If you are searching for a quiet and possibly the most welcoming and relaxed hotel in Špindlerův Mlýn, look no further. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the best hospitality we could ask for. The hotel itself is located in the slopes of Svatý Petr. With a snowmobile they took us, with our luggage, up to the hotel when we arrived. At the restaurant you can order what ever you want, but they have a packed menu of some of Czech traditions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting place in a remote area of the town. In winter you can't reach it by car but the hotel offers free transfer from the car park. For that reason it might be a bit inconvenient if you want to visit the whole town. Skiers will find the location convenient as the ski slope is just 600m from the hotel, plus it's downhill. Our room was very basic with old furniture, the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The food was tasty and the bar offers an impressive range of drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have travelled to many hotels and resorts. This one took my breath away many times. If only rating for customer service - 5 stars. If only rating for the food - 5 stars. If only rating for the scenic views - 5 stars. The staff always took time to ask of our comfort, if our meals were okay, just to confirm our comfort. The meals were all homemade and started when ordered. Even the soup dish was not served until the fresh baked roll came out of the oven. Our table outside gave us the best view of the mountains and sunsets. The hotel is 111 years old and has all the character of that age. The bathroom is modern, large and all the comforts. It is out of the way, halfway up the mountain, overlooking the town. Walking trails are everywhere. To rate this hotel overall, I could easily give 25 stars, but 5 is the maximum. It is definitely a place we will return to again and again. I highly recommend the Hotel Hromovka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a house in the area and on recommendation of the owner went to Hromovka for drinks and a dinner. What a great place! The views are breadth taking and the hosts extremely friendly, helpful and inspirational. It is a super relaxing place and we enjoyed every minute spent there. Whenever we are in the area we will definitely come back. Highly recommended.
