Hotel Krakonoš - Mariánské Lázně 660

Hotel Krakonoš se nachází v západočeském lázeňském městě Mariánské Lázně na stejnojmenném vrchu Krakonoš ?. Jedná se o 4 hvězdičkový velmi vzhledný hotel s prostornou a přehledně uspořádanou restaurací a salónkem ??. Před vstupem do hotelu je velká letní zahrádka s příjemným posezením, kde se návštěvníci mohou občerstvit a dát si také něco dobrého k jídlu ??. Nebyl jsem zde ubytovaný a proto nemohu posoudit vybavení pokojů a jejich vzhled ?. Obslužný personál je příjemný ?. V okolí hotelu je hezký park se sochou Krakonoše a postaviček z pohádek ??. Nedaleko od hotelu je konečná stanice lanovky a také sem jezdí MHD linka č.13. Doporučuji navštívit ???.

Beautiful nature all around. Many POIs, watchtowers, mansions, castles. Mariánské Lázně town definitely worth a visit. One of the 30 EU's most beautiful cities. With a car or even a bicycle one could keep busy for at least a week. Rooms are clean, practically furnished, bright in the day and dark at night, but not really soundproof. Only one power outlet in the apartment bedroom -- be prepared. They serve meals, coffee, beer, snacks in the lobby through the day. Breakfasts are buffet-style and good. Dinners average, accordant to a 3* hotel. Beer (Budvar 12°) is well handled and properly cool -- one level up the food. The hotel feels undermanaged. So many small inconveniences it cannot be a coincidence. When you arrive at the dinner the starter dish is already there. Following courses served swiftly as you proceed through them. The staffer responsible for the drinks, in contrast, is jammed with orders. You end up finishing your dessert while ordering a beer. The bartender may be too lazy to make the espresso you order and fix you a cup of instant nescafe instead (happened). No coffee is served at the breakfast, just the nescafe. The lobby is a smoking area so the stench is sensible at the hallways. Quite annoying. Parking is crowded and costs 100 CZK per car and day. That is inappropriate, since it is not exclusive (guest =/= spot). Extra charges for everything (towel change? Come on). Overall 2/5, one extra for the beer.

+ Great location in the middle of the forrest. Clean rooms. - This hotel got stuck in 90’s but not in a good way (it concerns room equipment, processes related to dine-in, staff, menu, …). It is not worth it the price you pay.
