Good restaurant with nice service. The view on the lake is beautiful. A very relaxing place

Hotel "Terasa" profiles itself as newly reconstructed 4* hotel. I've spent 3 days (& 2 nights) in it and I have no idea how it received those 4*. First off, only the interior of the hotel is (partly) reconstructed with some flaws. It is absolutely inappropriate for disabled or elder people because of a fair amount of steep stairs with no elevator. Rooms are large and look quite good but they miss several substantial things. The only thing you find upon your arrival are 2 towels. Unidentified soap/shampoo is located in a box on the wall. There is also huge amount of empty wardrobes which contain 3 pathetic pegs made out of bent metal. Other than that, you will find no slippers, empty fridge and no safe - all of which should be located in 4* hotel. Rooms deserve 2* or 3* at most (with one eye closed). Also, none of our rooms were visited by chambermaid during our stay (we haven't even seen any). The conference room felt like a bad joke. It didn't contain half of the things they claimed it on the Internet (no PC or TV), Wi-Fi signal was not very strong and it was build for 20-25 people at most. Webpage claims 50-60 people - even though they would fit, they wouldn't be able to move around very well. I have not visited pool or the "wellness". The worst part of the hotel is its restaurant. The food was sub-standard and even disgusting at times. Breakfast were "continental", consisting of ham and cheese already on plate with a little vegetable. The only sort of tea they offered was black. Lunch consisted of soup and second meal. Soup was brought in a huge pot and left for us to serve ourselves. We were allowed to choose out of 2 different meals for the second meal (most of the time "pasta" or some meat). I chose Spaghetti Aglio e olio and they brought me over-cooked macaroni made on butter. For dinner, one could again choose out of two different meals. Since the portions were quite small, we visited the restaurant again later in the first evening (since they told us it was open until 11 pm). The day after, we wanted to have another late dinner but we found the restaurant was already closed more than an hour before its closing hours. Therefore, we had to go to sleep hungry. Another huge flaw was the staff - we met only 2 members of it during the whole time, the receptionist and the waiter (who was also receptionist during the night). Even though they tried to be kind, they acted very informal and were more suited for a hostel or a pub. Also, they criticized us during the second day for not locking some back door of the hotel which we had no idea even existed. Moreover they didn't want us to show our ID cards even when we pulled them out. Other than us, there were no other guests and the whole place felt kinda suspicious. There were many more weird and unthinkable things and events but this is all for now. I don't want to occupy myself with it anymore. My * rating would be negative if it were possible. I'll do my best to evade this place for the rest of my life and I recommend you to do the same.

Food good, wellness area for free and unlimited. Passing through some kind of admin transition obviously. I don't want to affect negatively the Google stars because of the lack of personal during Christmas and year holidays. But is true that it would be good to have some small details upgraded. Hanger for towels in the swimming pool, sauna and showers... some other small details here and there however, the service in the restaurant and reception was amazing. I'm sad I don't remember the name of this wonderful woman who was in charge during the period we were there. Great to go with kids and loving that I can take my dog there. I'm coming back for sure during summer time. P.s.: you pay for what you get. Cool room is cool, small room is small. Just keep this in mind before booking.

Just be extremely careful if you change your booking and arrive there and they don't know you are coming... I initially booked directly with the hotel system 3 days from 21.8 to 23.8 and then I changed it 13.8 to 15.8. I did this change well in advance on 11.7, using their system, that allows that. I received an email confirming that my change was recorded successfully. I arrived there today and to my surprise, they could not find my updated reservation, just the original one, which seems so strange since I have the email confirmation of a successful change date. Just be careful if you change dates because it seems their booking system is not at all reliable. I ONLY drove 40 minutes, maybe you might loose a lot more time getting there to find out the changes you make in your booking does not reflect in their systems

Lovely place, suitable for families with children. We had a family room with terrace, nice view, comfortable beds, spacious place. The dinner and the breakfast were excellent, the restaurant pays a special attention to the way dishes and drinks are served - really above the expectations in small hotels. I wish we could stay here more.

Amazing hotel on pond shore with beautiful view. Hotel has completely new equipment and is great place to spend a weekend with our without kids. Kids have many ways to play here including kids cinema, two playrooms or a pool. Adults can relax in pool as well, but welness might be better choice. There are two saunas, steam room and a whirlpool. Food is very good, tasty and fresh. The service and staff is friendly and nice and will fulfill any possible wish. Parking is just in front of entrance so you won't need to carry your stuff far away. Definitely worth visiting this place.

Hotel with incredible location, amazing view of the lake and a great wellness area --> rooms, restaurant and wellness, all have big terrace&lake view --> price included : -breakfast (buffet type) -access to wellness area (indoor pool&jacuzzi; small colourfull aquarium tank ; the 2 saunas were extra - steam& finnish sauna) --> possibility to borrow at the reception for free : ping pong, Playstation 5, hokey , football, kids cinema --> lots of children's play areas inside and outside --> the room was equipped with a small fridge (minibar type) and 2 water glasses --> receptions staff was most welcoming and nice ; easy&smooth check-in and check-out (Thank you!!) The following things were not visible nor available : --> no fitness center --> an informative brochure in the room containing : - opening/functioning hours of all the hotel facilities - description of activities/facilities that the hotel offers and how it works - WI-FI details ; TV channels - standard safety regulations and fire exits with instructions Hotel's complimentary products/items were limited inside the room : --> no electric water kettle (to boil water for tea&coffee) and/or a small coffee machine --> tissues --> large/tall windows with grey thick heavy curtains, but no drapery to adjust room light Inside the hotel area : --> no water dispensers for free use --> no working light sensors from entrance door into the lobby/reception area for guests returning late at night

Great place for vacations with kids. Many areas to play are available - in the restaurant, on the terrace, a dedicated play room, a completely renovated pool, playground in the yard. The hotel is very clean, the rooms and associated terraces are big and have a fantastic view.
