Vítejte na stránkách hotelu Kristian. Ať jste sem zavítali cíleně, nebo proklikali náhodou, děkujeme, že čtete tyto řádky a snad si najdete chvilku, abyste se o nás dozvěděli více a třeba si nakonec vybrali kraj pod Boubínem pro svou další dovolenou. Od roku 2017, kdy se hotel vrátil z nadnárodních do kubohuťských rukou a byl po rekonstrukci otevřen, se snažíme o hosty starat, jak nejlépe umíme. Čeká nás ještě nějaká práce na fasádě či (doufejme nikdy nekončící) rozšiřování služeb, ale můžeme Vám slíbit, že se budeme snažit dostát pověsti, kterou se nám, i díky skvělým hostům, zatím podařilo vybudovat. Děkujeme.
PS: Výše zmíněné platí pouze za předpokladu, že je pověst hotelu Kristian stále na slušné úrovni.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to book this hotel based on a recommendation by a friend. It was a good choice. We booked directly through the hotel on the phone and got a great deal. The hotel is either newly decorated or very well maintained and done very tastefully. The owner assisted us with late check-in and personally took us to the room and turned on the lights for us, it was warm and cosy. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the chef cooked a great rump steak and a local czech dish (forgot the name) - great job! Aside from the regular menu there is also a daily menu which is nice if you are staying for a few nights. Breakfast was sufficient, even above average I would say, after staying in other places around Czech Republic. The staff were all friendly and attentive. There is a great little ski slope and ski school across the road and a red and blue run 150m down the road. You can hire equipment relatively cheaply. There is also a great 5km walk (10km round trip) up to a look out tower where I am told on a clear day you can see the Alps. Well worth the trip, will be back to experience it in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hotel right next to ski areal and with beautiful view. Everything is new, stylish, clean and in order. I am very happy with the style of design, which is mainly wood and modern furniture in a nice blend. Staff is professional, with smile on face and happy to help in any situation. Restaurant has a nice selection from local and fresh food. Price for accommodation and food is satisfying, considering the quality of both. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast great. Swimming pool also nice, long enough for swimming also the gym is fine with table tennis. Staff friendly, helpful. A lot of children present during our stay - we don't mind it but for someone it could be a dealbreaker.
The thing I don't like is the look of some parts of the hotel - even though it is quite new inside there are things which could be repaired/changed - door and the ceiling at the swimming pool. Also the prices at the restaurant are sky high - 500,- CZK for a meal is pretty much at least to my standards.
