Hotel Mala Strana - Mělnická 580/9

I recommend this hotel for those who visit Prague. You can meet friendly staff, really tasty breakfast and comfortable room.

Very close to the city center and quiet affordable. The famous Charles bridge is only 2 tram stops away. I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are good. Breakfast is available. Receptionists were very helpful. Easy connectivity from main railway station and airport.

Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere and with wonderful breakfast. I can only recommend it!

Location is good and their automatic check-in system was also amazing. However, there was no free water. Additionally, we should use a product as shampoo and shower gel. This was the first time to experience at 4stars hotel..

Room seemed clean except in the corners. The room compared to the pictures was tiny so if you are there for a long time, that can be an issue. The view from oir room was terrible but we were there for only 2 nights and just for sleeping, so meh. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast area is in the basement. There is only 1 elevator so you have to wait a lot if you want to get anywhere in the hotel. The breakfast area is so small, it is not enough to accomodate everyone, so first morning we would have had to wait but decided have a breakfast elsewhere. salso during covid, its quite risky to put so many people in a small area. Next morning we had oir breakfast there, coffee is okay, the scrambled eggs were sour. One of the breads had no taste at all. This is a 3 star hotel at best, i think for this price, there are much better places. Unfortunately hotel stars rating in Prague dont seem to mean anything apparently (2 friends stayed in different hotels, had similar experiences) but I can safely say a 3 star hotel is a 2 star in normal hotel star rating, a 4 star is a 3, etc. The bed was okay though. The toilet paper is so thin, you can see through it. Location wise its okay but if you are by car, they dont have a garage so you have to park on the street which is in a zone where you have to pay for it by the hour.

They gave us a room right next to the reception, it's very noisy and the rooms are not well insolated. If you are a light sleeper you will not have a decent rest. The noise of footsteps, people making noise at the hallway or even the elevator can be heard from this room. It's awful, would not recommend to sleep here to anyone. On top of it rooms have no AC. If you have booked this hotel, make sure your room is not at the reception level.

A great place to stay and I slept very well! Location is also nice. Hotel staff were friendly and were happy to speak to us in english. we were very pleased that breakfast was included. It was a relatively basic but suited our needs, however the breakfast room did get very full at times which made it a bit less relaxing that i wouldve liked. The lift broke while we were there and our room was on the top floor, which was unfortunate. Overall it was perfect for our weekend trip and i would recommend it to others.
