I agree that the owner is not completely fine and is behaving rudely and aggressively. Today, a frightening experience, when he started shouting at me in the parking lot in front of the restaurant, that he is the owner and let him tell him what I want there, that I am on his land, etc. So I didn't even enter this strange restaurant and left.

Very friendly staff, starting with a cheerful owner and ending with a smiling lady in the kitchen. Classic and yet delicious breakfast (we did not have half board, but according to what we saw with other visitors, there was satisfaction with the kitchen). The area looked simpler, sometimes you will see a cobweb in the corner, but it is definitely not possible to say that nothing happened there or was not taken care of. Beautiful and rich nature full of life, little touched corner of the Czech Republic in contrast with the crowded roads in the Giant Mountains and other larger mountains of our country (perhaps it will last a long time). Why 5 out of 5? We were not looking for a five-star hotel, but a background from where we can make a pleasant bike trip through a region that we do not know and we got it beyond our expectations. We were definitely not the last and everyone who does not need to feel like at the castle, but want to enjoy an active holiday, so I can only recommend (with the planning of trips, the owner as a great traveler will be happy to help).

A very quiet place who is looking for silence will really find it here. The rooms are clean. Prices are the same as in nearby guesthouses and hotels. But the food here lags a bit behind the others. He issued us an invoice for 4 times and he couldn't write it even for the fourth time right (because he just doesn't do it and can't) - he has a lot of disputes with people in the neighborhood and even the staff can't stand him because of him very stressed - if you will solve something with the owner, then only by email. It changes prices, agreements, raises voice. Without an email, you can't tell him he said something completely different yesterday. - The owner claims that it is a 3 - star hotel, but it is practically not a hotel either (only in name) In general, it is one big dilettantism and an incredible inquiry on the guests, who are for the owner only inferior people who bring him money there. Don't go there, it will spoil your stay and mood.

Never again. It is a rebuilt old military building, which really looks like an old and musty barracks with basic equipment from the inside. The aggressive screaming owner only paints the whole picture of the military drill and everything is complemented by their diet, which even hens would not eat. You don't have to talk about how much you pay for this.

The beautiful location is spoiled only by the owner himself, who is arrogant and cannot behave. I arrived, waited for accommodation and got into a cross with the owner, who shouted that it was his house and we would listen to his rules. In addition, in a pet-friendly hotel, I would not expect the owner to feel threatened in front of a lying dog with which the other staff has just been petted ? Yes, I have marked you as…. And you are also according to other reviews, so I do not understand the anger ? In addition, you still shout at me that I have a reservation through booking and you will not return anything to me. So I return home and never really to this object!
