We booked the SUITE LUX on the hotel's own website six months ahead. It is important to know that their cancellation policy is about the harshest I have ever seen. Yet, when we arrived, we were given the wrong/lesser room, without even mentioning it to us. We had to go to the reception ourselves and the receptionist was playing dumb, although we had their own issued voucher. We were told there was a 'mix up'. Only after our continued display of displeasure, we were later approached by a manager, who was sorry but inadvertently admitted that there was a different party in the room, who were staying for more nights than we would have. To be fair, we were offered free dinner that night and 10% discount on our room rate. Needles to say that we were very dissatisfied by the experience and would never return or recommend the hotel to anyone. For us, it was about the experience and their completely spoiled it for us. We were counting on the kitchenette and view of the mountains, and had none. Given our early booking and their cancellation policy, and their utter disregard for a commitment, this was my worst experience ever with any accommodation anywhere in the world, and we had traveled quite a lot. Not even mentioning the cool pool, inadequate parking, late starting time for breakfast etc. I bet there had to be better options in Spindleruv mlyn.

Had a lovely dinner of slow braised beef in amazing red wine jus that I could have drunk with a straw. Nice view over the town from the terrace too. Be aware that the wine list is disproportionately expensive and you're better to stick with the food and beer for great value for money.

We had a rather unpleasant stay as the hotel was packed with noisy party tourists. The hotel staff did not do anything to ease the situation for the other guests. That was disappointing and made us leave the hotel rather annoyed than relaxed after four days.

The hotel has been renovated and is well maintained. The view is beautiful from the rooms. The location is beautiful, the staff was very friendly and we had a lot of restaurant options within minutes.

Horrible customer service. The hotel is on the hill and it’s very dangerous to get there when the temperature drops below zero. They don’t desnow neither the road nor their parking. Lazy. On top of everything they charged me for lactose free milk that I used at breakfast (ridiculous). They’re definitely stuck in the nineties with their mindset. Not how you treat a customer today!

We had a dinner for 14 people and there is nothing to complain about. The service was great, the time between ordering and receiving the food was fair, the quality of the food and deserts were great! We liked it very much. Make sure to do a reservation if you come as such a big group and they will prepare the tables. We will come back as soon as we are back in that region!

Silver Rock bar belonging to the hotel is a local party spot that plays loud music until late, every day at least until 1am. and the bass coming out of this place makes it difficult to fall asleep (reported to the hotel reception - no reaction). That’s why I do not recommend the hotel to people who want to rest. Otherwise the hotel is beautifully situated. Nice spa area but hotel guests have to pay for access after using a 2-hour voucher. The outdoor jacuzzi is additionally paid (around 20eur for 30min). Never seen anything like this in 4-star hotels. Ridiculous. The truth is it's a nice 3-star hotel. The rooms were recently modernized, quite small but cozy with nice bathrooms. Restaurant serves good food. Pleasant service. I would love to give Hotel Praha 4 stars, but Silver Rock bar and additionally paid services spoil the overall picture.

Beautiful hotel. The restaurant food was first class and the waiters really friendly and welcoming. The spa was an amazing space, beautifully laid out, clean and relaxing atmosphere. The only downside was the massage. 3 of us got a massage and no one was impressed. It felt rushed and as if the guy wasn't really interested. Despite this the overall hotel experience was amazing. My recommendation is to forget the massage and spend the money on the hotel restaurant. You won't regret it.
