Ostrožna byla terénně hladce přístupná pouze z východního směru. Převýšení z jihu bylo před napuštěním přehrady až 40m. Přístupná východní strana byla přepažena příčným valem (dnešní výška 1,5m), který byl nejmohutnější v jižní části. Další úseky obvodové hradby se dochovaly v podobě valu na jihu a západě. Other sections of the perimeter fortification have been preserved in the form of a wall in the south and west. According to archaeological excavations, this area was inhabited in the early Iron Age, in the younger Hallstatt period, ie in the 6th to 5th century BC, and therefore has the primacy that it is the only known fortified settlement from the Early Iron Age in Prague! Ostrožna was smoothly accessible from the terrain only from the eastern direction. The elevation gain from the south was up to 40 m before the dam was filled. I like to go to Hostivar with a dog for walks, but also with granddaughters, it is beautiful there, best over noon, it is the least people there. Good trips for cyclists.
