I really enjoyed the food and of course, the views. I 100% recommend a stop there during your trip.

Great ambiance! Hunter theme. Wonderful place to stop for a warm drink or meal. They had a log fire going.

Lovely atmosphere, great location and overall good staff. Unfortunately we didn't get try the food apart from an apple strudel. When we got there, the place was empty and the kitchen still closed for half an our. After getting some drinks, there where people coming in and the place was filled in no time. The male waiter was obviously a bit afraid of our dog (a 10 months old Belgian Shepherd/Labrador mix). No problem, the female staff helped us instead of him and even brought the dog a little treat. When we where ready to eat, we beckoned the waiter three times in about 15 to 20 minutes. But still no waiting staff came to our table. Being afraid of a dog is no problem, but ignoring customers for that long is just plain rude! He could have sent one of his colleagues over to us more than a few times. Eventually one of the female waiters came to the next table and we could get hold of her and order our meals. A few moments later other people with a dog entered, making our dog bark for a few times. Although we are training her to stop with that behavior, it is just a playful way to show she wants to go to that dog. In advance we warned the people at our table and at the nearby tables about the dog possibly barking if she gets triggered. Not a single person was hesistant or unhappy with that, most even took the time to pet her. The people with the other dog sat down at the table right next to us, but with their dog on the other side. That made our dog bark a few times more. Suddenly the male waiter got in a rage, talking more Czech than English or German (despite communicating in the latter languages before). It appeared he wanted us to leave. So to not make a bigger deal out of his rage in the crowded place we left the restaurant, naturally without paying for the drinks and apple strudel we already had. The female waiter apologized on our way out and we had our lunch somewhere else. We actually visited the restaurant lots of times before, never had any problems and will visit them again in the future. As long as that rude dog-hating waiter isn't there. So definitely try it, but make sure to avoid that guy!

Restaurace Myslivna is the restaurant with the best value for money in Špindlerův Mlýn. It is our favorite restaurant. From the tasty soups to the salads to the various meat dishes (game is the special specialty of the house) everything tastes very delicious and is freshly prepared. If you are not afraid of the small illuminated walk from the village up the valley, a real piece of "Riesengebirge" tradition is offered away from the tourist restaurants. We have stayed here many times and will come back for sure.

A very fancy place with excellent food and nice interiors decorated with antlers, animal furs, stuffed animals and hunter gear. You will be given special knives for fish and steaks. There are two grinders on each table. The smaller one is filled with large pink salt crystals and the taller one is full of multicolored pepper seeds. White Labe and Labe rivers join close to the place, so if you sit outside, you can hear them gurgling. There is a large map sign nearby to let you plan your next steps. The food you get here is not just delicious, it looks well too. Even the salad you get as a side to most meals tastes super good. They even serve Coke, so there's going to be no "is Pepsi okay?" scenarios. Overall, this is a very posh, but affordable restaurant. If you ate somewhere else, you would've paid pretty much the same amount of cash without feeling luxurious The place welcomes families with open hands. In fact, most of their customers are families with kids.

We were a little afraid, we read about the slow service. Not true (at least for us). Everything was fast. Beautiful local beer, genuine garlic soup (it is not everywhere in those places). Great desserts and turkish coffee.

Great place to eat after a long walk or day on the slopes of Spindl. Excellent service of the waiters. Local beers, food and spirits. Worth the walk or the 2 minutes taxi drive from city center! Try the game!

Myslivna in Spindl can surprise you good or bad year from year. This year it is a great surprise. Food was delicious, especially deer steak and pancakes with ice cream and service was friendly and fast. But be ready that when full, meals and service take time.
