★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bardzo ładny klasycyzujący pomnik Jana Husa. Trzon monumentu stanowi zwieńczony kielichem obelisk, przed którym umieszczona została rzeźba Mistrza mniej więcej naturalnej wielkości. Postać ujęta jest w sposób dość konwencjonalny, na jej lewym przedramienia spoczywa podtrzymywania dłonią Biblia, na którą Reformator wskazuje palcem prawej ręki. Figura wydaje się pełna gracji i dostojna zarazem. U stóp Mistrza dwie półnagie postaci chłopców (geniuszy) przytrzymują wieniec laurowy. Pomnik znajduje się w obrębie rynku miasteczka vis-à-vis ratusza, otoczony jest roślinnością i chyba przydałoby mu się czyszczenie.
A very nice classicizing statue of Jan Hus. The core of the monument is the obelisk crowned with a cup, in front of which a sculpture of the Master of more or less life size was placed. The figure is captured in a rather conventional way, on her left forearm rests the palm of the Bible, to which the Reformer points the finger of his right hand. The figure seems graceful and dignified at the same time. At the Master's feet, two half-naked boys (geniuses) hold a laurel wreath. The monument is located within the town square vis-à-vis the town hall, is surrounded by vegetation and probably could use a cleaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pomník stojí na fajn náměstí s krásnou radnicí.
Vznikl podle projektu pražského sochaře Jindřicha Říhy. Byl slavnostně odhalen roku 1900 za hojné účasti občanů i významných osobností a spolků. Pomník se řadí k nejstarším v Čechách. Nízká základna zvoncovitého tvaru vynáší čtyřboký kónický pilíř zakončený mohutným kalichem. Na jeho čelní straně je osazena dvojice soch - tzv. Géniů - a v jeho střední části pak socha mistra Jana Husa.
The monument stands on a nice square with a beautiful town hall.
It was created according to the project of the Prague sculptor Jindřich Říha. It was ceremoniously unveiled in 1900 with the large participation of citizens and important personalities and associations. The monument is one of the oldest in Bohemia. The low, bell-shaped base brings out a quadrilateral conical pillar topped by a massive chalice. On its front side there is a pair of statues - the so-called Geniuses - and in its middle part there is a statue of Master Jan Hus.
