The bronze sculptural group Antal Stašek and Ivan Olbracht is located on Bítouchova Street, at the entrance to Palacký orchard. The work dates back to 1960 and was made by Josef Malejovský. A sculpture called Father and Son is one of his most successful works. The double-statue reminds the two writers of Semily: Antal Stašek, whose own name was Antonín Zeman (1843 - 1931), was not only a writer, but also a lawyer, a teacher, a journalist, an amateur director, and the director of the Municipal Savings Bank in Semily. His son Kamil Zeman (1882-1952) used the famous pseudonym Ivan Olbracht. He wrote not only the prose but also published in the press and translated the German literature.
