Aside from the change of date 2 days before my op and all the messing around with flights and hotel room etc my actual surgery went really well. I expected to have to wait around because of waiting for blood tests to come back and consultation to be done etc but it really wasnt an issue I mean if I had to have a consultation and a pre op in the uk it would be days/weeks apart so considering its all done in the same day I think it all ran pretty well (even if I was thirsty and hungry). Klara was fantastic and I had surgery with Dr Lhotsky who was very professional but also wasnt uptight and I felt very comfortable with him. He listened to what I wanted and Im very happy with my result so for (1week post op today) I had personal recommendations by 2 people so thats why I chose iscare and I'm so happy that I did. The nurses post op were very attentive and sweet and I had some lovely food there the day after. The nurse also gave me water and apple juice when I needed it. I was given a proper post surgery bra too. The clinic was very clean and modern. Only 4 stars because of all the messing about changing my appointment 2days before original date and only 1 of us was booked in at the hotel instead of both us (EXTOL were very good though and still let us both stay at no extra cost) so in my opinion I wasnt offered enough compensation for all the inconvenience of that. Highly recommend the clinic and surgeon.

Worse experience ever. In comparison with the hospital Karlovo Namesti the people working there doesnt know how to take care of the patient. One expect that paying so high price it means to have care and attention. But nothing. Almost all the nurses and stuff very rude and a bit racist I would say, just the one in the Intensive care room were super sweet nice and gentle as it should be. But the nurses at the 3rd floor totally different story. If one pays 2500kc (per night!!) for one single room is to have parents next to, expects to be allowed to have it. The only positive aspect is the doctors that are expert in gyno so you will have the best doctors. I recommend to find some other structure that is less expensive and fancy. Plus they claim that they have stuff english friendly but is not true.

Worst clinic EVER!!. After my my surgery (cholecystectomy) I wasn’t able to talked to the doctor, the nurse said only the operation is okay. And the nurse in ward after the operation is very rude and very unprofessional.

Stay away from this clinic, there are much better ones in Prague. They are only after your money here, charging a lot for every little thing, but not providing adequate service. The quality of service here is very weak. We always had to wait a lot, we were always seen by different doctor, no consistency... Since they have ton of customers (mostly Czechs), the doctors always had to study our card before speaking with us... So they really had limited clue about your case. The results speak for themselves, we had completely unsuccessful cycle here (0 fertilized embryos). After switching to a new and much better center (Cube IVF), where they treated us much better, we successfully had 2 fertilized embryos and now are proud parents to a daughter! The difference between these two IVF centers was really night and day... Never crowded, always seen by someone who knew our history, ton of flexibility... And they tried to reduce price as much as possible... We're so happy we left ISCARE, thanks Cube for our daughter!

From my personal experience, I wouldn’t recommend the clinic for foreign patients who’s going thru IVF. There are a lot better clinics in Prague than them. I should have known before we were placed here by an agency. You don’t have a sole doctor who will examine you. Every time I go for treatment, it’s a different doctor. We did about 3 cycles with them and every time it’s the same procedure even if we had failed for the past. They will not recommend you on what’s next but rather they will ask you what you want. I believe you are paying them to get the proper care and recommendations which we never experienced. They are so easy to ask money by email without even proper invoicing. Every six months, you’ll have a different coordinator. And be careful with what your signing with them, cause even if you order a procedure today and used it today, they will charged you the past price not the current price. Lastly, you will not be able to access your own medical records right away without signing forms and paying such money depending on how you want your records be delivered to you. I requested by email and took them more than one month to process. Every time I follow-up, they will come up with an issue saying, I haven’t sign the document properly etc. Which this should have been check as soon as they receive the forms. Again, stay away from this clinic if you are not a Czech citizen.

The reception assistants are particularly unhelpful ,unfriendly unwelcoming. I was advised by the prague government to purchase f f p2 masks for hospital.Eva treated me as if she was an old fashioned school maam and shouted i had the wrong mask and waving her arms iv always had good service in the past but wow this woman was outrageous.Extremely upsetting just before surgery.

Rude staff throughout the entire process. I had a shoulder arthroscopy surgery there last week which included one-night stay. The medical centre has just moved to this new location (the operation was on their Day 3 in the new location) and it was a mess. While I understand that the chaos may not be the fault of the medical staff but of their Management for the poor planning and execution of the move, the extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour I encountered throughout the 24hrs I was there is non-excusable. A few nurses made an effort to speak English which was great however in most cases, the fact I was non-Czech speaking was met with a very disgruntled attitude. Arrived at 8am as requested for a "10am surgery". Filled documents for 2 hours. Was booked into a room in the ward. Brand new and nice and roomy facilities I must say. Only 2 beds per room. I was given some pre-op medication and was left there the entire day without any updates on when the operation will take place. I was in total fast (no water either) since the night before. Every time I asked for an update, I got a very rude answer. I got out of the room once to call the nurse and noticed the staff running around moving boxes and other large objects. The patients, apparently, were seen as a "disruption" to their move efforts. I was eventually taken to operating theatre at 17:30 (8.5 hours after my arrival). After the surgery, was taken into a recovery room. Having just woken up from full anaesthesia, I was very dizzy. There were 2 nurses there: a male and a female. They clearly couldn't wait to go home, and they were very loud around me, talking loudly, laughing while watching some videos on their phone right next to my bed. They also smelled very badly of cigarettes. Both of them. When I asked to speak to the surgeon or other doctor and find out about how the operation went and ask questions about the recovery I was told: "the doctor spoke to you for 10 minutes when you got out from the operation". I was clearly still sleepy. Not sure how they thought it’s okay to give me important info when I was just coming out of the general anaesthesia. The 2 nurses were very rude, loud, smelly, and they clearly wheeled me out of the recovery ward to the regular ward too early as they wanted to go home (I guess I was the last one that day and it was late) as they had their coats and bags on them. They made no effort to made me feel comfortable and were rude with their noisy behaviour. In the department, I've met with excellent night staff. There were 2 female nurses. One spoke English but the other didn’t. For some reason, the none-English speaking was looking after me, but she was super sweet and kept translating everything on her phone. She went well above and beyond to care for me throughout the night as I needed a lot of help. In the morning, even though I was under a lot of pain still, they tried to dismiss me at 7am and "kick me out". They had no sympathy to the fact I was weak, under pain and with very limited mobility (one arm in sling and very dizzy) and wanted me to get ready to leave. I asked one of the nurses (same rude nurse from the day before) to help me remove to gown and the leg stockings I was wearing for nearly 24hrs and she was very rude and shouted(!!) at me that she "doesn’t have time to help me with things I can do myself!". I was shocked and annoyed and asked her to leave as she was rude. I waited for my wife to come over and help me. I wouldn't have asked anyone to help me hadn’t they kicked me out of the room so early. I do believe the staff were too busy organising the new facilities however this is no excuse to the rude behaviour and lack of patient care, empathy and professionalism. Shocking experience. I will be writing a complaint letter to their management, as well as to the ministry of health.
