Location super - only problem is with air conditioning - ☹️

Hotel is neat and clean, and the staff were nice, but didn't feel like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. Perhaps a nicer 4 star hotel standard. They also have an underground soviet nuclear bunker, which was fun checking out, but no deal breaker to choose this hotel only for that.

Excellent Hotel facing Wencelas square. Warm, clean and modern bedroom. Good buffet breakfast. Highly recommended.

Hard to find a better location for your stay in this wonderful city... Clean, good service, central

Location is fabulous, but thats about it. This hotel is 3* at best. The website photos for the hotel are nothing like reality, rooms a damn site smaller than on the pics. The rooms were not cleaned properly on a daily basis, the bed was loosely made and the towels were replaced but that was it. The cups and glasses were neither cleaned or replaced and the tea, coffee and sugar weren't replenished either... on a daily basis as you would expect. There was no communal area to sit and chat before retiring to bed. The lobby and restaurant staff were very friendly but the room maids need to up their game considerably. There were 15 of us (all family) staying at the hotel, we all had a fab time but would not stay ar this hotel again.

We went there with my girlfriend to visit the fallout shelter hidden under the hotel (after we booked for a specific date / time) We've been literally thrown out by the receptionist while we tried to explain we had the reservation for the visit, with of course no explanation at all. The guy shouted at us and directly went to another customer without even bothering about what we could say. Of course we never visited the said shelter... Even if he had a bad day, that is NOT a correct way to behave with customers! I would not recommend the hotel neither the shelter visit. Date of visit : 7th of march 2022, 1pm

I stayed here with my family in April 2022. This hotel is perfectly located for all the tourist areas and perfect for shopping with plenty of restaurants within a minute walking. However it is classed as a 5 star hotel and it is nowhere near it. I would say it is closer to 3 star. The rooms are very old with outdated furniture. The coffee and tea tray was one of the worst I have ever seen. The kettle was yellow and had lots of limescale within. It was terrible. The noise from the hallway outside the rooms are terrible. People tended to stand outside their doors and shout at each other every night. There is a doorframe within the room without a door on it. I don’t know why but if it had a door then it would stop a lot of the noise from the hallway. When the rooms were cleaned all they did was make the bed to a terrible standard and didn’t even clean the cups or the spoons. Not good enough. I had breakfast included in the price which was ok but normally cold. On 2 occasions I went for breakfast but there was nowhere to sit as it was full. This wasn’t because of hotel guests this was because it was also open to the public. When I asked a member of staff about it she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Terrible attitude. I was left standing there with my family with no breakfast. This was dealt with by the very friendly lady at reception who apologised about having no availability especially as I was a guest and the attitude of the staff member. We ended up having to sit apart. I don’t think I would stay here again. It is not what I expected for a 5 star establishment. I felt the staff in the dining areas had no people skills whatsoever and also had the impression that members of the public paying for their breakfast were treated much better and had more priority than staying guests. I’m afraid I can’t recommend this hotel and I wouldn’t stay again. I would also like to say that in the photos there is a picture of a very nice bar in the hotel. There was a bar but it was curtained off and was a no go area. They can’t say itvwas t busy enough to use it because the place was very busy everyday. One of the reason I picked this hotel was for its 5 stars and the lovely bar. For the hotel owners if you are not opening the bar you shouldn’t be showing pictures of it on your website.

This place is lovely and staff attentive. Asked for a balcony room on arrival and was told we hadn't been allocated one. No attempt to look for one either but overall a lovely stay. Breakfast amazing too!!!
