★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poustevna tu bývala již v polovině 18. století. V roce 1788 byl zrušen klášter v Jablonném v Podještědí a proto se zde dva mniši Thomas a Valerián usadili. Postavili roubené stavení a ve skalách vytesali malé komůrky. Věnovali se léčitelství a v janovické škole vyučovali náboženství.
The hermitage used to be here in the middle of the 18th century. In 1788, the monastery in Jablonné in Podještědí was abolished and therefore two monks, Thomas and Valerián, settled there. They built a timbered building and carved small chambers in the rocks. They devoted themselves to healing and taught religion at the Janovice school.
