In the last 4 months I have canceled 3 language courses. In the second case, it was a course they offered to me as a replacement (for the first canceled) and in the last case, I even learned about it only when visiting the lesson, which of course did not take place. Nobody picked up the phone on any of the numbers (on the front door) during the declared office hours. Not even a branch manager. The question is whether it makes sense to register so many courses, when they cancel so many in the finals (100% in my case). By doing so, one also loses the courses occupied in other schools. At least the subsequent negotiations were fairly correct ...

The quality of lecturers does not correspond to exorbitant prices. One of the three lecturers taught a little, one did not prepare for an hour, every hour exactly the same. Hours were often about watching movies or doing nothing. The office workers were often reluctant to do something once, not once. Someone lost student status and was not even told. Visiting the doctor and hospitalization was not a relevant reason to apologize, although it would be taken into account. These private schools only withdraw money and quality is not guaranteed. Pretty terrible experience. Jipka Language School has business conditions set so that if you book online, this reservation is binding and you are required to pay the course, unless you withdraw from the contract within 14 days by law. Most linguists work in such a way that when you don't pay a reservation the course is automatically canceled and you can't join the course. The result of the Jip's approach: you change your mind and pay for the course, and you do not take any lessons and after two months you will receive an invoice that you did not pay them the course. Finally, you will learn that they have no record of not wanting the court, they don't care about anything else and you have to pay. Although I acknowledge that I should have paid more attention to the nature of the reservation, it makes me suspect that it is a tactic of getting more people out of the people ... Apart from the fact that when I asked the course in the info center, no one thought in the least to remind me that I had to withdraw from the contract. I would therefore be cautious in dealing with them and if possible find a language school with a better reputation and client approach. Terrible experience. Under their terms and conditions, one has to pay, even though he / she did not attend any of the courses and did not pay for the reservation of a course in timely manner. Such practice is not standard among other language schools (see British Council or Institute Francaise). They just try to make you pay. Be careful when dealing with them.

I have been going to Jipka in English for 2 years now. The teacher is absolutely great and the atmosphere at the lessons is completely comfortable. There are 6 of us in the course and we just met as a great group, so I'm always looking forward to the lessons.

German lessons for beginners A1. I do not recommend the course for complete beginners who have not encountered German at all. Although it is so written in the description, the language school confirmed to me after the course complaint that the course is completely run for complete beginners, I do not recommend it. This course is suitable for those who have met German a bit and can easily orient themselves in it. The textbook Tangram Aktuell 1 is used for teaching.

I attend French and Spanish because it was the only language course she had the largest choice. I am satisfied with the teaching and the lecturers. I appreciate that even at the time of the covid they had online lessons, I was a little scared, but in the end it was great.

Today ended my last lesson in an English course on Národní třída. I'm looking forward to the next semester next week :) I would like to commend the teacher, who is absolutely amazing.
