About Jelínkova plzeňská pivnice
O tom, kde se v Praze čepuje nejlepší Plzeň, vedou pivaři věčné spory. Že se jedna z nejlepších točí U Jelínků nedaleko Národní třídy, ale nepochybuje nikdo. Pivnice tu bývala už na začátku minulého století.Rodina Jelínků ji získala v roce 1918 a již roku 1926 uzavřel pan Jelínek smlouvu s Plzeňským pivovarem. Do malého lokálu s výčepem, který má neopakovatelnou atmosféru a kde jako by se zastavil čas.
K výbornému pivu se doporučuje klasika v podobě taliána s chlebem a další pivní pochoutky.

They sell one type of beer, it's mainly standing-only, although there are a couple of tables.
Plzeň beer is 47 Kč at the time of writing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most local little hideout in Prague.. Only Czech grandpas enjoying their daily beer, deco from 80s, tasty cold beer! They do have few cold appetisers too.. No English spoken in here but a smile and hand signs worked for us! Truly unique and nice experience. The staff were really nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They don't seem to like tourists. I was refused service because I don't speak Czech. I spoke English and Russian to them and they wouldn't serve beer to me. This is unusual taking in consideration that there are so many businesses in Prague that dependent on tourists. I was there on July 30, 2021.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place in the wall it's hard to see that if they don't play live music, one of the only cozy places left in the city which is loosing culture and everything because of large amount of tourists. The were playing kind of rock music with guitars and I relay enjoyed moments when standing there drinking and listening and watching pictures on the walls without fancy decorations which you can find these days in all touristic cuties like Prague. I'm going to stop writing about local places because they will turn to touristic places in short time
