Josef Jungmann 1773 - 1847, byl vynjkající literát, básník, spisovatel, filolog, učitel, obrozenec, představitel a tvůrce českého jazyka, náš buditel. Socha je umístěna na podstavci na trávníku, který ke lemován trsy okrasných kvétin. Velmi příjemné místo v klidném zákoutí vedle rušné križovatky, v místě před vstupem na Václavské náměstí. Projdete kolem restaurací s dobou nabídkou nápojů i jídel české kuchyně na prostorné náměstí bez dopravy a uvítá vás hned předzahrádka s hezkým výhledem a dobrotami.

A small square with a statue of the seated Josef Jungmann. Josef Jungmann 1773 - 1847, was an outstanding writer, poet, writer, philologist, teacher, revivalist, representative and creator of the Czech language, our awakener. The statue is placed on a pedestal on the lawn, which is lined with bunches of ornamental flowers. Very nice place in a quiet corner next to a busy crossroads, in front of the entrance to Wenceslas Square. You will walk around restaurants with a period of drinks and Czech cuisine on a spacious square without traffic and you will be greeted by a front garden with a nice view and goodies.
