It is one of the most beautiful cities.

Not exactly twice a nice station located on a hill. At least the waiting room works and sells tickets here.

Ugly old station. Take a ride to Prunéřovany and Doupov railway once a week to Podbořany.

Train connections mostly with the transfer to the Kadaň-Prunéřov station (ČEZ Elektrárny Prunéřov) to Chomutov and Klášterec nad Ohří.

The town of Kadaň offers a lot, both for children and adults: a quiet walk along the waterfront or a hike to the lookout tower.

Railway station with ticket sales. Trains on this line (Kaštice - Kadaň Prunéřov) run regularly only in the section Kadaň suburb - Kadaň Prunéřov, limited (only part of the year) from Kadaň suburb - Polák. From the Poles to Kaštice and on the branch line from Vilémov near Kadan to Kadaňský Rohozec, long-term passenger transport is stopped due to non-ordering of trains by the Ústí Region. There you can take the train occasionally.

At the end of October 2019 the railway station in Kadaň was put back into operation. The track has been transformed and there are three boarding points with wheelchair access to low-floor trains. The station has a new radio, a light board with train departures and a barrier-free entrance to the waiting room. The most important part of the extensive reconstruction will be the electrification of the section Prunéřov - Kadaň, which will allow, since 2021, a direct train connection in the direction of Ústí nad Labem or the main railway station Děčín.
