M	Michal Vomacka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit and take a swim in the summer heat in these two former quarries deep in the woods. Water looks fairly clean, but isn't of the bright blue level found in the so called "Velká Amerika" quarry closer to Prague. Also beware, that if this is your first time to Nečín, you may face difficulties finding the two water filled quarries. Roadsigns will only lead you to the general area where one huge stone quarry is still operational with heavy machinery inside. Don't get put off and go deeper to the forest and up the hill to find the two places where you can take a swim or have a picnic. There aren't any facilities provided though, whatever you don't bring yourself, won't be there. A few ducks will probably keep you a company over there.
