★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Janáčkovy sady patří ve městě k nejstarším. Býval zde v historii hřbitov, k němu patřila i kostnice a hřbitovní kaple. Ta je zasvěcená svatému Kříži a postavena byla v roce 1757.
A jen na okraj. Proč byly sady pojmenovány po jednom z nejslavnějších českých hudebních skladatelů? Po druhé světové válce vzhledem k tehdejšímu demografickému vývoji byla hledána ryze česká jména a volba padla na Leoše Janáčka. Toho bychom logicky spíše hledali na Hukvaldech.
Janáček Gardens are among the oldest in the city. There used to be a cemetery here in its history, it also included an ossuary and a cemetery chapel. It is dedicated to the Holy Cross and was built in 1757.
And just on the edge. Why were the sets named after one of the most famous Czech composers? After the Second World War, due to the demographic development of the time, purely Czech names were sought and the choice fell on Leoš Janáček. Logically, we would rather look for it in Hukvaldy.
