Výklenková barokní kaplička svatého Václava u obce Kokořín je krásně zrekonstruovanou sakrální stavbou (rekonstrukce proběhla v roce 2008). Historické prameny bohužel mlčí o její historii, proto o ní neznáme jakékoli bližší informace. Tato památka byla dlouho opomíjena i když se dostala v roce 2002 na seznam NPÚ a měla být vyhlášena kulturní památkou, z důvodu nedostatku finančních prostředků ve státním sektoru se tak nestalo. Díky zachovaným fragmentům stavby a zkušenostem akademického malíře Aleše Krejčiho se podařilo dát kapličce původní stavební vzhled. Ztvárnění sv. Václava se ujala ak. malířka Václava Císařovská. Kaple byla znovu vysvěcena 26. října 2008 u příležitosti nadcházejícího svátku české státnosti. The niche Baroque chapel of St. Wenceslas near the village of Kokořín is a beautifully reconstructed sacral building (reconstruction took place in 2008). Unfortunately, historical sources are silent about its faith, so we do not know any details about it. This monument was long overlooked even though it was included in the list of National Heritage Institute in 2002 and was to be declared a cultural monument, because of the lack of funds in the state sector did not. Thanks to the preserved fragments of the building and the experience of the academic painter Aleš Krejči, the chapel managed to give the chapel its original building appearance. The portrayal of St. Wenceslas was taken over by academic painter Václava Císařovská. The chapel was consecrated on October 26, 2008 on the occasion of the upcoming feast of Czech statehood.
