★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best place to eat in Karlštejn. Honestly, it’s actually one of the best cafes in the whole Czech Republic. I’d most certainly recommend their bowl and pasteis, they are all super tasty! If you’re looking for something else than classic Czech food, this is the place to go for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything in this restaurant was perfect. The food is homemade and affordable, the interior design is cosy, and the menu is varied and healthy. The traditional soup was particularly savoury.
I’d like to stress the warm welcome of the owners, which were of great kindness. They speak English well, and one of them even spoke a little French with us. Definitely my best restaurant experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about this place was simply amazing. Very friendly staff, delicious food (including vegetarian and vegan options) and also very tasty drink options. Really enjoyed the homemade lemonade.
Perfect place to end your trip to Karlstejn while walking down from the castle.
