Vznikla tu vlastní farnost a kostel sv. Originally a neoclassical chapel of St. Wenceslas was promoted to a church in 1903, soon after the independent town of Nusle was removed from the parish affiliation of Michle. Its own parish was born and the church of St. Wenceslas became a parish one. After the fire in 1962, the interiors of the building underwent a complete renovation between 1967 and 1968. The author of the design was the architect Jaroslav Čermák. After 1989, the interior of the church was remodele again and new bells were hung in the tower.

A beautiful church in a very nice place, which is an oasis of the soul in front of the surrounding busy world.
