★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knihovna je v budově tzv .Pellyho domech na náměstí v Polici nad Metují. V době mé návštěvy byla zavřená. Nicméně to není jediná instituce, která zde je. Byla jsem na veřejném 7. Zastupitelstvu tohoto města, které se vždy koná v sále tohoto domu. Sál je prostorný, s barovým pultem, a využívá se dále jako taneční sál, na besedy, konference atd. Má pódium, toalety a nabízí tak i prostor pro koncerty, divadlo a v neposlední řadě i výstavy. Příjemné prostředí.
 The library is in the building of the so-called Pelly houses on the square in Police nad Metují. It was closed at the time of my visit. However, it is not the only institution that is here. I was at the public 7th City Council, which always takes place in the hall of this house. The hall is spacious, with a bar counter, and is also used as a dance hall, for discussions, conferences, etc. It has a stage, toilets and thus offers space for concerts, theater and, last but not least, exhibitions. Pleasant environment.
