V	Vladimir Pecha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kapucínský klášter byl založen v době největšího rozmachu kapucínského řádu u nás, ve druhé polovině 17. století. Byl postaven díky hraběnce Krakovská z Kolovrat. Stavba konventu probíhala v letech 1676-1680, klášterní kostel byl svěcen až v r. 1683. Stavba byla v podstatě dokončena v roce 1684. Architektura raně barokních staveb je přiměřeně prostá. Klášter byl zrušen v roce 1950, a po dlouhá léta sloužil jako domov důchodců. I ten však byl v osmdesátých letech zrušen. Rekonstrukce klášterní zahrady u kapucínského kláštera v Žatci byla provedena v letech 2009 - 2011, a nabízí relaxační prostory, dětské hřiště, ohradu s pávy, bylinkovou zahradu i Místo pro kulturní vystoupení.
