★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prostranství před kostelem se proslavilo "účinkováním" ve filmu Romance pro křídlovku, právě na tomto místě sídlili kolotoče se svými obyvateli. Ve filmu účinkuje řada místních, zejména z řad dětí. Další zajímavostí místa je to, že na hřbitově u kostelní zdi byli pochováni v neoznačeném hrobě američtí váleční piloti, sestřelení nad naším územím německou armádou za 2.sv.války. Tento fakt byl prokázán během činnosti související s hledáním tzv. Štěchovického pokladu.
