Strohá a vysoká stavba má jen minimum architektonických prvků. Vysoké západní průčelí členěné čtyřmi pilastry nesoucími římsu zdobí kamenný portál s trojúhelníkovitým štítem, nad nímž jsou tři kamenné erby (stavebníka a jeho manželek Anny Barbory z Kokořova a Marie Veroniky Švihovské z Rýzmberka) a reliéf Panny Marie Bolestné s mečem. Raně barokní zařízení kostela pochází z doby jeho výstavby. Rod Malovců připomíná v interiéru barokní náhrobek stavebníka Jana Kryštofa Malovce (†1677) a kazatelna zdobená rodovým erbem.
