★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostel svatého Jana Křtitele se nachází v centru Jindřichova Hradce v těsné blízkosti rybníku Vajgar. Kostel pochází ze 14. století a několikrát vyhořel. Zajímavé a záhadné jsou vnitřní malby, které znázorňují všelijak zdeformované postavy. V dnešní době jsou zde čas od času prováděny prohlídky s výkladem a bývají poměrně brzy zcela vyprodány.
The Church of St. John the Baptist is located in the center of Jindřichův Hradec, near the Vajgar Pond. The church dates back to the 14th century and burned several times. Interesting and mysterious are the inner paintings that depict the variously distorted characters. Nowadays there are interpretations from time to time and they are sold out quite soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Velmi krásný kostel pocházející z 12.století. V době návštěvy probíhala noční prohlídka kostela. Velmi poutavý výklad pracovníka muzea o historii kostela a města. V rámci prohlídky byla možnost prohlídky i půdních prostor kostela,opět se zajímavým a poutavým výkladem. Prohlídka trvá cca 2 hod. a lze ji velmi doporučit.
Very beautiful church dating from the 12th century. At the time of the visit, there was a night tour of the church. A very engaging explanation by a museum employee about the history of the church and the city. As part of the tour, there was the possibility of a tour of the attic of the church, again with an interesting and engaging explanation. The tour lasts about 2 hours and can be highly recommended.
