★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kostel stojí na ostrohu nad úrovní silnice a je tak nádhernou dominantou městyse. Vede k němu schodiště, u kterého stojí první libštátská škola. Budova byla postavena v letech 1787-1789 na místě původní dřevěné stavby. Okolo kostela je hřbitov s mnoha nádhernými náhrobky, od kostela je krásný pohled na město a historicky most.
 The church stands on a promontory above the level of the road and is thus a beautiful landmark of the town. A staircase leads to it, where the first Libštát school stands. The building was built in the years 1787-1789 on the site of the original wooden structure. Around the church is a cemetery with many beautiful tombstones, from the church is a beautiful view of the city and historically the bridge.
