It was later rebuilt in Baroque style. At the end of the 19th century, a neo-Gothic reconstruction was carried out by an important Czech architect Josef Mocker.

Původní stavba byla založena králem Vladislavem II Jagelonským a vysvěcena současně s hradní kaplí v roce 1522. Roku 1728 byl kostel barokně rozšířen, to co vidíme dnes, je výsledkem historizující přestavby z roku 1885, zhotovené podle návrhu J. Mockera s finanční podporou knížecí rodiny Fürstenbergů. Po přestavbě byl kostel vysvěcen 11. 10. 1885, obnoven pak v 90. letech minulého století. Mocker with the financial support of the Prince Fürstenberg family. After the rebuilding, the church was consecrated on October 11, 1885, and restored again in the 1990s. R	Roman Vápeník on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moc pěkný a poměrně velký kostel. Venkovní prostory pěkně upravené. Je ale škoda, že v době pandemie není návštěvníkům umožněno ani nahlédnutí do vnitřních prostor. Zaujal mi ale dřevěný kříž vedle kostela, který je věnovaný všem obětem COVID - 19. Very nice and quite large church. Outdoor spaces nicely decorated. However, it is a pity that during the pandemic, visitors are not even allowed to look inside. But I was interested in a wooden cross next to the church, which is dedicated to all victims of COVID - 19.
