★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gotický kostel Svaté Kateřiny Alexandrijské byl postaven asi ve druhé polovině 14. století. Kostel byl přestavěn v roce 1553. Roku 1848 byl značně poškozen požárem. V roce 1859 byla provedena poslední radikální přestavba do dnešní novorománské podoby.
 The Gothic Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria was built around the second half of the 14th century. The church was rebuilt in 1553. In 1848 it was greatly damaged by fire. In 1859, the last radical reconstruction was carried out to the present-day Neo-Romanesque form.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Krasno machen wir Halt und schauen uns die Umgebung der Kirche näher an. Fürs nächste Mal haben wir uns schon das örtliche Bergbaumuseum auf die Besuchsliste geschrieben.
Der bemerkenswerte Kirchenbau von Krasno offenbart sich, wenn man sich dem Ort von Bresova an der Autobahn Cheb - Karlovy Vary über die 21022 nähert. Ein Halt an der Kirche und ein Rundgang auf dem Gelände und dem alten Park (alten Friedhof?) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Am geöffneten Westportal kann man einen Blick ins Innere der schön restaurierten Kirche genießen.
In Krasno we stop and take a closer look at the area around the church. For the next time we have already put the local mining museum on the visit list.
The remarkable church building in Krasno is revealed when you approach the town of Bresova on the Cheb - Karlovy Vary highway via 21022. A stop at the church and a tour of the grounds and the old park (old cemetery?) Is highly recommended. At the open west portal you can enjoy a view of the interior of the beautifully restored church.
