A cute wooden little church in a quiet garden as unusual for Prague! Nice community.

Konstrukci a exteriér navrhl Ing. arch. Karel Hruška a interiér včetně oltáře architekt Jaroslav Čermák. The church was built in 1941 and was to serve as a temporary chapel before the new church in Krč was built, because Krč sought its own parish. However, the parish was not established, so the chapel was dedicated to St. František of Assisi and the name "The church On Habrovka" was adopted. The building is the work of two architects. The construction and exterior were designed by Ing. architect Karel Hruška and interior including altar architect Jaroslav Čermák. Construction began on December 8, 1941, and in just two weeks the church was completed. On the feast of the Nativity on December 25, a solemn midnight mass was celebrated here.
