 Thanks to the coronatypus, another nice hike, beautiful panoramas and views, the children enjoyed it and even struggled. Hike from the well after those rains quite hardcore ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kotýz se nachází nedaleko Berouna na západním okraji CHKO Český kras. Územím prochází naučná stezka a je známé především dvěma skalními mosty, Aksamitovou bránou a Jelínkovým mostem, a archeologicky významnou Děravou jeskyní.
Kotýz is located near Beroun on the western edge of the PLA Český kras. The nature trail passes through the area and is known mainly for its two rock bridges, the Aksamit Gate and Jelínek Bridge, and the archaeologically significant Hole Cave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tip na rodinný výlet v přírodě, který stojí za to. Kotýz se nachází nedaleko Berouna, kousek od Koněpruských jeskyň. Cesta na něj vede buď z parkoviště u jeskyň, nebo od Havlíčkova mlýna ( více do kopce) cca 2km. Cestou od jeskyň se můžete ještě zastavit na vyhlídce na Lom čertovy schody, protože dále po cestě budete mít více možností ho vidět z různých úhlů. Cesta vede převážně lesem a jdete po žlutě značené turistické stezce. Na místě je k vidění Aksamitova brána (největší skalní brána v Českém krasu) a Jelínkův most a hlavně krásný výhled do přírody, na vesnici Tmaň, Suchomasty, Křižatka či nedalekou Koukolovu horu. Užijte si výlet.
A tip for a family trip in nature that is worth it. Kotýz is located near Beroun, a short walk from the Koněprusy Caves. The path to it leads either from the parking lot at the caves, or from Havlíčkův mlýn (more uphill) about 2 km. On the way from the caves, you can still stop at the viewpoint of the Devil's Stairs, because further along the way you will have more opportunities to see it from different angles. The path leads mostly through the forest and you follow the yellow marked hiking trail. On the spot you can see the Aksamit Gate (the largest rock gate in the Bohemian Karst) and Jelínek Bridge and especially a beautiful view of nature, the village of Tmaň, Suchomasty, Křižatka or the nearby Koukolova Mountain. Enjoy the trip.
