I would like to enjoy the castle in Kounice. But some owner who bought it lets it decay when it all falls down in a while. He's a jerk.

Původně zde stávala renesanční tvrz přestavěná 1612 na renesanční zámek, později barokně upraven. V roce 1924 jej získala obec a byly zde i byty, škola, ... 1990 zámek vyhořel, 2004 byl prodán do soukromých rukou a chátrá, je zapsán v seznamu nejohroženějších památek ČR. Krásné jsou sochy mouřenínů u vchodu. Škoda, že si neumíme vážit odkazu předků a takhle to dopadá. A devastated chateau whose splendor is still visible despite its terrible condition. Originally a Renaissance fortress stood here, rebuilt in 1612 into a Renaissance chateau, later rebuilt in the Baroque style. In 1924 it was acquired by the village and there were also apartments, school, ... 1990 The castle burnt down, 2004 was sold to private hands and dilapidated, it is registered in the list of the most endangered monuments of the Czech Republic. Beautiful are the statues of moors at the entrance. It is a pity that we cannot value the legacy of ancestors and that is how it turns out.
M	Matouš Bauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásná ruina. Opravdu by to stálo za opravu. Jinak zamek je nepřístupný. Dovnitř se dá jen nahlédnout přes zeď. Snad se to do buducna zlepší. Beautiful ruin. It would really be worth fixing. Otherwise the lock is inaccessible. You can only look inside through the wall. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

Je smutné že v době kdy se investují miliardy do kdečeho hrozí totální demolice zámku, který tady stojí stovky let. Je to ostuda naší generace. It would be great if someone reconstructed the castle. Dva majtelé, jeden pohořel u památkářů a druhého později dostihla finanční krize 2008. Opravdu štěstí v neštěstí je že se vesnici podařila opravit alespoň střecha. Jinak by už "zámek" nestál. Okolo zámku "sekají" porost ovečky. Without resources and with complicated proprietary status, the legacy of ancestors is badly weighed. Osud interierů po zabavení Lichtenštejnům, je podobný tolika jiným památkám po válce. Před rokem 1990 byly pořízeny nové střechy, po té byly všechhy kovové části, hl. měděné, rozkradeny. Jo kulturní národ se projevil! Ještě že sochy mouřenínů od Brokofa už byly kopie ( orig. jsou v NG ). Renaissance chateau, a significant monument.
