★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kuchyň restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful places in Prague. On Hradčany Square, opposite the entrance to the Prague Castle, with an amazing view of the whole city. Kuchyň means kitchen in Czech. Right at the entrance there is a big cookstove with pots of the dishes that the restaurant serves that day. This is meant to evoke the kitchen of a Czech grandmother who has just prepared your lunch. The food is excellent Czech cuisine, compared to the Lokal restaurants, it's more homemade, less pub-like, with beer. This is matched by the desserts. The tables inside are in a smaller space, don't expect any fine dining. My personal tip is to pop in for a beer when you can sit outside and watch the city below you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to stop for a meal when visiting Prague castle. The views from the terrace are awesome, and probably alone make the experience worth coming to.
The food is very tasty and of good quality. I enjoyed the cream soup a lot, which came with delicious house made croutons. The duck breast salad was very tasty and filling as a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is located at the top of a hill with stunning views of the cities! The staff was very attentive and helpful with everything. Needless to say the food was delicious. I suggest ordering different dishes so that you can try many things.

The restaurant has a fantastic outside area from which you can enjoy a beautiful view over Prague.
It offers delicious Czech specialities such as the beef bun i had. As everywhere in Prague you have a good selection of fantastic beers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice view of the city. It’s very close to the old palace enterance, so if you are hungry or want to drink e beer it’s a good place to stay.
You have the option to sit down at tables, but it can get pretty crowded. You can ask people if you can sit together, the tables are pretty generous in size.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to grab a drink and food. On this visit we only had drinks, but the food being served looked and smelled amazing. I have been visiting Prague for 18 years and never knew this existed. The views are amazing. Lots of areas to sit both inside and outside. Really enjoyed sitting on the lawn area. Service was very good. As summer approaches, highly recommend making reservations to get outdoor seating. This place will be busy in a big way.
