The monument dates back to 1881, but was originally dedicated to Emperor Joseph II. Since 1918, the monument has been exchanged for plowing and devoted to Kudlich, who deserved to abolish his betrayal.

Netypicky působící zajímavý pomník Hanse Kudlicha najdete hned za kostelem sv. Petra a Pavla před restaurací Pod podloubím. The impressive and a bit of weird looking monument of Hans Kudlich can be found right behind the church of St. Peter and Paul in front of the restaurant "Under the arcades". Originally it was the monument of the Austrian Emperor Joseph II. Later, his statue was pulled down and replaced by a plow in honor of Hans Kudlich, a member of the Austrian Parliament, who had greatly contributed to the abolition of serfdom.
