Nejstarší městské domy byly patrně dřevěné s kamennými sklepy v několika úrovních, zejména v 16. století byly stavěny nové kamenné a hrázděné štítové, jednopatrové domy s loubím v přízemí. I díky nim patří Úštěk mezi architektonické skvosty Čech. Štítové domy jsou na hlavní ulici v centru obce, určitě je neminete a stojí za zastávku. Úštěk is a small town, but it is definitely worth a visit. It is an ancient place with many monuments. Neither the surroundings will not disappoint. The gable houses are on the main street in the center of the village.

Určitě se sem ještě vrátíme prozkoumat okolí kde je co objevovat, třeba Kalvárii. Uštěk and his sights are great. Bird houses, square with church, lake Chmelař.
