★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go early. Parking is small but in winter season is the Medvedin lift always busy. The slopes are depending on the weather, mostly good. Especially the black slope can be a challenge. This lift is the furthest from city center but that's only a 10 minute walk. The Iglobar on the right side of the lift station is one of the best bars in Spindl with a terrace and a view on the black slope.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The whole resort is underdeveloped. Prices are high. Quality of services not so high. They should do more gromming there and work all the slopes and offer transport to other ski resort under one price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went up there twice. Once in late summer and the other in early winter. I naturally will comment on the rather highly priced tickets ' I'm comparing to similar services at actual mountain ranges in counties like Austria, Italy or even across these very hills on the German and Polish sides. At the time being there is talk of a better system improving the situation.
Other than that, I am a hiker so my one-way trip up lovely and almost alone due to the being there out of season.
On the top there are some services and when you're out then enjoying and appreciating being away from everything & most of the time that includes mobile signal.
High winter season offers different challenges so buy your tickets online & expect queues for the lift. But it looked organised and all in good spirits every time I'm there on an annual basis.
