A silent place of cruel memories. We came at the time of veteran car exhibition Lidicky okruh. New part of the village is a celebration of new beginnings and the life there is the victory of innocence over evil.

This shouldn’t be forgotten. This place is okay to visit to all age groups. The staff here is incredibly nice and kind and they really like to help. Most of them are children of mothers who returned from concentration camps. Also the set is here is great.. the toilets were clean and cafeteria offered normal prices. Thanks to all the staff who took care of us the whole day. I recommend this place to visit. Absolutely worth it.

The history of this place feels me sad. I recommend you visit it yourself and find out why ?. Overall, Great views to walk with family and children. Don't forget to bring water as your kids would ask for it along the way coz it's a vast piece of land to walk.

Deafening silence. A must see if you come to Prague. If you're not convinced that Nazi's achieved their objective, come visit this place.

Lidice memorial is a place where you can feel all the horrible acts which were made by nazis army. On the other hand the surrounding and the place is very beautiful and renewed. There is several possibilities where to go for free and you can read all about the act of destruction this village during WW II. There is also a museum of the village and near the memorial you can find there very good restaurant where you can eat very well. So I can only recommend to visit this village.

This is a beautiful place with a tragic history. I left feeling humbled having experienced something I will never forget. Thoroughly recommend. It will only take 2 hours or less to experience everything or if the whether is good to really spend time in the grounds and soak up the history

Intense experience but absolutely worthwhile to make a visit. The memorial does honor to the horror that occurred here. The memorial is peaceful and expansive due to the large open space and walking trail that leads you through the grounds. Be prepared for some emotions.

A beautiful memorial. Its a lovely tranquil place and the silence and what appears absence of the wildlife here, enhances the emotions that are felt. My son left a teddy at the child's memorial, and there are candles and lanterns. We didn't visit the museums but walked the friendship and peace gardens and through to the children of war memorial. Dogs are welcome kept on a lead and there are plenty of bins but bring bags to keep the place clean.
