★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pomník "Polibek" vytvořil pro Letenské sady Josef Mařatka v roce 1921. Architekturu podstavce navrhl Jan Kotěra. Pískovcové sousoší Polibek bylo tedy původně umístěno v Letenských sadech, až v roce 1945 bylo přesunuto na Petřín. Autorovou inspirací byl jeho pařížský učitel Auguste Rodin. Z mnohoúhelníkového soklu vyrůstají dvě postavy. Klečící ženský akt se vzpíná vzhůru a objímá sklánějící se akt muže. Polibek je je jednou ze sochařsky nejhodnotnějších exteriérových realizací v Praze.
The memorial "The Kiss" was created for the Letná orchards by Josef Mařatka in 1921. The architecture of the pedestal was designed by Jan Kotěra. Sandstone sculpture "The Kiss" was originally located in Letenské sady, only in 1945 it was moved to Petřín. The author's inspiration was his Parisian teacher Auguste Rodin. There are two figures on the polygon plinth. The kneeling female act is raising upward and embracing the bending act of a man. Kiss is one of the most valuable sculptural exterior realizations in Prague.
