Malšice - Malšice

At today's closed and slightly abandoned station, I fulfilled one of my wishes for my vacation this year. I drove to Malšice via the Bechyně Railway - the first electrified railway line in the Czech Republic, which is backed by "Czech Edison" František Křižík. The 24 km long track has been in operation since June 20, 1903. It was originally supposed to lead from Vodňany via Týn nad Vltavou, Bechyně, Tábor and Vlašim to Kutná Hora, in the end only the torso from Tábor to Bechyně was approved. Malšice once had the reputation of being the second largest station on the Bechyně railway. Today, locals prefer to travel by bus, whose stop is closer to the village. And it's true that in the middle of the summer season, I was the only one who performed here. However, the experience was great! The station, which is a little abandoned today and has its station building closed, was one of the wishes I fulfilled on my holiday this year.
