The daughter stuck a thorn in her palm, which swelled a little. (I say lightly) I didn't want to neglect anything, and since it was Sunday and all the pharmacies were closed, I visited this clinic in the hope that they would help me. I wanted to disinfect the wound. The doctor took us. It is true that he informed me that they are non-contractual medical facilities. I ask, how much will it cost? (the disinfection) Doctor: do you want to treat? I will tell you the price later, now it is not possible to determine exactly. It was strange to me, but I still lived in the hope that I wouldn't run into a thief. So he looked at his daughter, found out that he didn't see any more thorns, sprayed her with a betadyne injection, tied up and prescribed ATB after 8 hours for 7 days, due to an infection. He has not forgotten to scare that they could even amputate her hand !! Price 2500 CZK !! When I objected, I was told dryly that I had signed the paper and agreed to the treatment, and if I didn't want to pay, they would hand everything over to the police !!! Great approach, never again !!!

So I'll raise the score of this clinic a bit. My son broke his arm, I wasn't sure if it was broken or not, so I visited this clinic. From the door, they informed me that it was broken that they were non-contractual medical facilities and I would pay for everything myself and they gave me to sign a paper where the prices for the procedures were written down. I didn't read much at the time, I wanted my son to look at it. The son panicked enough, he didn't want to go to the hospital, the doctors reassured him there, they were friendly and they talked to their son. They did an X-ray and told me that it would need to be compared, either they could do it under local anesthesia, but that they did not recommend that the son was small and that he should not have trauma from the doctors. They sent us to České Budějovice, where their bones were to be adjusted under general anesthesia, and they fixed their hand in the transport, gave us an X-ray CD and called Budějovice. The price was about 2900, -. I have no idea how much it costs when the insurance company pays for it, maybe less, but they behaved like professionals for me. Just two good uncles who treated his hand. It is a pity that public health is so underfunded and often the approach to patients there is diametrically different. I must point out that this did not apply to the hospital in České Budějovice that day. Except for one young doctor on admission, all have an amazing and human approach.

The son needed to treat the wound, with an unprofessional approach they told us that they only wanted 1600 for a doctor's check. I don't even want to know how much they would like for possible disinfection and further treatment of the wound.

At first I was very pleased that the people in charge even made time for me at 7 p.m., but when I asked if they would take my German health insurance card, they first said yes, then I was told to pay €400. When I refused and asked to simply settle the bill with my health insurance company, I was told that it was irresponsible to travel without travel insurance and I was offered treatment again for €200. I refused again. As a result, the hospital in Krumau was recommended to me. I was also well looked after there. One wonders whether these people became doctors to help people or to fill their own pockets with injured tourists.
