Nový Bor vzniknul v první polovině 18. století se z osady vystavěné na lesních vřesovištích, německy nazývaných Haida (Heyde) - odtud starší název. Historický vývoj města je úzce spjat s Marií Terezií a hrabětem Josefem Kinským, z jehož popudu právě Marie Terezie povýšila dne 26. února 1757 Nový Bor na město. Hlavní architektonickou památkou a zároveň dominantou je chrám Nanebevzetí Panny Marie z 18. století. The fate of the town has been linked to the glass industry since the end of the 17th century. Today about 12 thousand inhabitants live here. Nový Bor originated in the first half of the 18th century from a settlement built on forest heaths, called Haida (Heyde) - hence its older name. The historical development of the town is closely connected with Maria Theresa and Count Josef Kinský, on whose impulse Maria Theresa promoted Nový Bor to the town on 26 February 1757. The main architectural monument and dominant feature is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from the 18th century. The fate of the city has been associated with the glass industry since the end of the 17th century. Today, around 12,000 inhabitants live in the town. S	Stanislav Dostál on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ wouw ! tak za mne míří velká pochvala na tento úřad - dopředu jsem zavolal jestli mohu přijet a kdy v tomto divném covid období, a počínaje paní Štěpánkou Šrůtovou (odbor majetku), přes paní vedoucí celého úřadu, až po odbor životního prostředí všude velmi příjemné jednání. vše v pohodě, a to jsem neměl lehké otázky. Výhoda byla, že jsem obešel vše na úřadě v jeden čas, na jednom místě, vytiskli mi dokumenty z vývěsní desky, pomohli vyplnit formuláře na Žádost o pronájem pozemku, no a nakonec velmi přívětivý pán na Podatelně.... víte co jsem si říkal když jsem odjížděl zpět do Prahy ? že takhle kdyby to fungovalo všude, tak by se nám lidem jinak žilo... už chápu, proč tento úřad má několik ocenění za vlídný přístup, a je to vidět že ryba smrdí od hlavy - paní vedoucí opravdu hlídá aby jednotliví úředníci fungovali, volali zpět, odpovídali na maily, a oni to vědí - na druhou stranu je přívětivá, a když jsme měli problém tak hned přišla ze své kanceláře aby pomohla. Prostě pro mne skvělá zkušenost, až jsem se rozhodl to napsat. wouw! so great praise goes to this office for me - I called in advance if I could come and when in this strange covid period, and starting with Mrs. Štěpánka Šrůtová (property department), through the head of the whole office, to the environmental department everywhere very pleasant meeting. all fine, and I had no easy questions. The advantage was that I went around everything at the office at one time, in one place, printed documents from my notice board, helped fill out the forms on the Land Lease Application, and finally a very friendly gentleman at the Registry Office .... you know what I said when I left for Prague? that this is how if it worked everywhere, we people would live differently ... I understand why this office has several awards for a kind approach, and it can be seen that the fish stinks from the head - the head of the manager really watches the individual officials work, they called back, they answered the emails, and they know it - on the other hand, it's friendly, and when we had a problem, she immediately came from her office to help. Just a great experience for me when I decided to write it.
R	Radejko Nounou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Snad by to ani nebyl český úřad, kdybych tu nezažil nějaké to příkoří, ponížení nebo alespoň zbytečnou ztrátu svého času. Vystál jsem si na žádost o průkaz jednu frontu a potom druhou při jeho přebírání. Převzetí průkazu bylo na 4 minuty, čekání na 45 minut. Při přebírání jsem samozřejmě čekal ve společné frontě s těmi žádajícími a musel jsem ještě pouštět ty, co se objednali přes www. To jsem se ale z SMS zprávy, kterou mi úřad k převzetí průkazu poslal, nedozvěděl. Celé to budilo dojem, že předání bude jednoduchým úkonem, ale opak byl pravdou. Na všechny občany byl jen 1 úředník, což může působit v době kolem svátků jako velmi nedostačující. Prožijte a poznáte, jakým služebníkem občanů je novoborský úřad! I stood at the request for a card, one queue and then the other while taking it over. Receipt of the card was for 4 minutes, waiting for 45 minutes. However, I did not find out from the SMS message that the office sent me to take over the card. It all gave the impression that handing over would be a simple act, but the opposite was true. There was only 1 official for all citizens, which may seem very insufficient around the holidays. Experience and get to know what a servant of citizens the Novoborsk office is!
