Vzniklo na místě původní osady, kam bedly důležité cesty spojující Brněnsko s jižními Čechami. Lucemburkove chtěli z Telče vytvořit důležitou součást hraničního opevnění. Ve 14. století se za pánů z Hradce postupně rozrostla o tržiště, hrad a vodní opevnění. Při přestavbě hradu na zámek, radnice a městských domů spolupracovali italští stavitelé a řemeslníci. Telč díky tomu získala renesanční charakter. Domy mají vysoké štíty pokryté sgrafity. Baroko přináší na náměstí a do ulic sochařská díla. Farní kostel sv. Jakuba s 60 metrů vysokou věží nabízí nádherné výhledy na trojúhelníkové náměstí s branami a řetězec rybníků. Také románská strážní věž u kostela Sv. Ducha je přístupná veřejnosti. The houses have high gables covered with sgraffito. Baroque brings sculptures to the square and the streets. Parish Church of St. Jakuba with its 60 meter high tower offers magnificent views of the triangular square with gates and a chain of ponds. Also the Romanesque watchtower at the church of St. The Spirit is open to the public.

Mesto ma spoustu nevyuzitych prilezitosti a obrovsky drimajici potencial. Pozvolna se mesto probouzi z letargie. Pekny klidny park v zime otevreny, coz potesilo. Oproti Krumlovu ma zamek o trochu lepsi pristup. Otresne je osvetleni mesta, ktere by zasluhovalo komletni predelani. Historicky bylo namesti vice zelene a take zivejsi. Verim ze mesto pochopi ze auta v centru mesta za 300 na den v mincich nemaji co delat a vice skodi nez jaky je z nich uzitek. Pekna prochazka kolem rybniku. B	Bela on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Město Telč je velmi malebné a půvabné. Po historické stránce velmi pestré. Zámek nebyla možnost navštívit nini prochází větší rekonstrukci. Ale i tak stojí si projít tu historickou část města. Zámecká zahrada přístupná byla i když je podzim tak byla kouzelná procházka a na jaře to může být ještě barevnější. Rozhodně stojí za to navštívit Technické muzeum dýchne na vás historie a milovníci starých aut si přijdou na své ale je tam toho více. Telčský dům a podzemí také doporučuji navštívit. Ale je toho mnohém více. The town of Telč is very picturesque and charming. Very colorful in terms of history. The castle was not an opportunity to visit nini undergoing major reconstruction.
